Hosted by Nathan Masters,[1] the program explores Los Angeles history through archival materials.[2][3] One episode featured the history of Dodger Stadium.[4] The show returned for a second season in October 2017.[5] It was announced the show would return for a third season on October 9, 2018.[6] DevelopmentThe show began as a series of online articles that featured historical materials from the L.A. as Subject research alliance. When the online series became successful, it was spun off into its own TV series.[7] EpisodesSeason 1 (2016){{Episode table |background=#DEDDE2 |overall=6 |season=7 |title=49 |airdate=38 |episodes={{ Episode list|EpisodeNumber=1 |EpisodeNumber2=1 |Title=Wild L.A. |OriginalAirDate={{Start date|2016|01|27}} |LineColor=DEDDE2 }}{{ Episode list |EpisodeNumber=2 |EpisodeNumber2=2 |Title=Before the Dodgers |OriginalAirDate={{Start date|2016|02|03}} |LineColor=DEDDE2 }}{{ Episode list |EpisodeNumber=3 |EpisodeNumber2=3 |Title=Reshaping L.A. |OriginalAirDate={{Start date|2016|02|10}} |LineColor=DEDDE2 }} }} Special Summer Episode (2017){{Episode table |background=#DEDDE2 |overall=5 |season=5 |title=52 |airdate=38 |episodes={{ Episode list|EpisodeNumber=4 |EpisodeNumber2=1 |Title=Descanso Gardens |OriginalAirDate={{Start date|2017|07|26}} |LineColor=DEDDE2 }} }} Season 2 (2017){{Episode table |background=#DEDDE2 |overall=5 |season=5 |title=52 |airdate=38 |episodes={{ Episode list|EpisodeNumber=5 |EpisodeNumber2=1 |Title=Borderlands |OriginalAirDate={{Start date|2017|10|10}} |LineColor=DEDDE2 }}{{ Episode list |EpisodeNumber=6 |EpisodeNumber2=2 |Title=Wild West |OriginalAirDate={{Start date|2017|10|17}} |LineColor=DEDDE2 }}{{ Episode list |EpisodeNumber=7 |EpisodeNumber2=3 |Title=Building the Metropolis |OriginalAirDate={{Start date|2017|10|24}} |LineColor=DEDDE2 }}{{ Episode list |EpisodeNumber=8 |EpisodeNumber2=4 |Title=Dream Factory |OriginalAirDate={{Start date|2017|11|07}} |LineColor=DEDDE2 }}{{ Episode list |EpisodeNumber=9 |EpisodeNumber2=5 |Title=Coded Geographies |OriginalAirDate={{Start date|2017|11|14}} |LineColor=DEDDE2 }}{{ Episode list |EpisodeNumber=10 |EpisodeNumber2=6 |Title=Pacific Rim |OriginalAirDate={{Start date|2017|11|21}} |LineColor=DEDDE2 }} }} External links
