释义 |
Louis Allard (1852 – 1940) was a French classical trombonist. Born in Porto Rico, he was a soloist at the Opéra-Comique and the Orchestre de la Société des Concerts du Conservatoire. He transcribed many works for trombone of works by Jean-Baptiste Arban, Jean-Baptiste Willent-Bordognis and others. Allard was a teacher at the Conservatoire de Paris from 1888 to 1925. He succeeded Paul Lespagne. The Allard method was based on sound and expressiveness. The technique was secondary, unlike that of Henri Couillaud, his successor at the Conservatoire. External links
