Luo Li Rong ({{zh|s=罗丽蓉}}) is a Chinese artist and sculptress who creates realistic sculptures primarily in bronze.

Early life

Rong was born in 1980 in Hongqi, Hunan province, China.^[1]^[2]

Education

In 1998, Rong entered the Changsha Academy of Arts in Hunan, China and studied with Xiao Xiao Qiu.^[2]

From 2000 to 2005 Rong studied sculpture at the CAFA (Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, China^[2]) with Sun Jia Bo. In 2005, she graduated with honors.

Later life

In 2005 Rong traveled to France and in 2006, she and her husband moved to Belgium, they lived there until 2017. ^[3]

In 2018, Rong opened the Luo Li Rong Foundry in Bologna, Italy.^[4]

Achievements

While at the CAFA, Rong participated in multiple public sculpting projects including a sculpture installed in 2003 in Da Lian Park for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. ^[5]^[6]
