Based in Mumbai, Luv Films produces and distributes feature films and digital content. While Luv is the creative force of the company, Ankur handles the business reigns.[1] Production venturesLuv FilmsLuv Films co-produced the 2018 blockbuster Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, a romantic comedy starring Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh Nijjar that released on 23 February 2018.[2][3][4][5][6] The movie also marked the musical comeback of popular rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh after his 2-year hiatus with the song "Dil Chori". Upcoming filmsLuv Films’ next is De De Pyaar De, a romantic comedy film directed by Akiv Ali starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles. The film will release on 17th May, 2019. They announced the release date for their upcoming family comedy film Jai Mummy Di starring actors Sunny Singh and Sonnalli Seygall which is slated to release on 12th July, 2019. The film also stars Supriya Pathak and Poonam Dhillon and is directed by debutant Navjot Gulati. Luv Films is also producing Hansal Mehta’s Turram Khan, a social comedy set in a town of Uttar Pradesh starring Rajkumar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha which will go on the floors in November 2018.[7][8][9][10] They have also joined forces with director Mohit Suri for multi-starrer revenge drama Malang (film) which stars Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani and Kunal Khemu. The film is slated to release on 14th February, 2020. [11] Besides these, they have also announced an Ajay Devgn–Ranbir Kapoor starrer which will go on the floors in 2019 and will have a theatrical release on 25 December 2020. The Lazy StudioFormed under the aegis of Luv Films, The Lazy Studio was founded in 2016 with the aim of producing content for personal screens.[12] The company's very first venture is a digital sitcom titled Life Sahi Hai created by the co-writer of Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 – Tarun Jain.[13] The first season comprised five episodes and was aired on Youtube in 2016.[14] In 2018, the sitcom was renewed for a second season on Zee5 – the video on demand service run by Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited.
