Magda Gad{{needs-IPA}}, born 17 October 1975 in Falun, is a Swedish war correspondent writing for Expressen. She has also written for We, Café,[1] Aftonbladet, Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet, Modern Psychology, and Läkartidningen. She came to international prominence in June 2016 by covering the assault on Mosul in Iraq, where she reported the war against ISIL in Iraq. AwardsIn 2015 Gad was named to the Journalist of the Year (2015) in Sweden.
