She is an MBA Graduate from SRM University. During her college days, She moved to media as Video Jockey in Sun Music.[2]Since 2012, Manimegalai has become one amongst the leading TV anchors as featured on Tamil television and has notably continued to host several reality TV shows on Sun TV (India) and Sun music. She continued to host many entertainment shows on Sun TV (India), Her collaborations with other anchors such as Nisha Krishnan and Anjana Rangan have also become popular, and the duo has hosted many shows together, such as 'Nanbenda Munnottam', 'Pudhu Padam Epdi Irukku', etc.[3][4] Personal lifeManimegalai was born to a businessman Ramaayyappan and Jothi. She has a younger brother, Guna, viscom Graduate. Until class three, manimegalai did her schooling in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. She then moved to Chennai with family and continued her schooling in St.Johns matriculation Higher secondary school. She Completed her post Graduation in MBA at SRM university. Manimegalai married Hussain an assistant dance choreographer on 6th December 2017 against her parents decision.Now she is participating in Mr&Mrs chinnathirai show with her husband in Star Vijay[5] Television
