Margaret Jeffrey Rioch (1907–1996) was an American psychotherapist. In the 1960s she led a National Institute of Mental Health program to train women to become paraprofessional mental health counselors. She was professor of psychology at American University, and founder and director of the A. K. Rice Institute, which studied group dynamics. Rioch was born in Paterson, New Jersey, and graduated from Wellesley College.
