Mary Haviland Stilwell Kuesel sometimes spelled Stillwell-Kuesel (April 30, 1866 - June 22, 1936) was a pioneer American dentist.{{sfn|Historical Society of Pennsylvania|1991|p=}} She was the founder of the Women's Dental Association of the United States. BiographyMary Haviland Stilwell was born April 30, 1866 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1892, she founded the Women's Dental Association of the U.S.[1]{{sfn|Bird|Robinson|2016|p=8}} In 1902, she married Dr. George C. Kuesel,{{sfn|White|McQuillen|Ziegler|1936|p=1332}} a medical doctor.{{sfn|American Public Health Association|1950|p=1588}} They were associate members of the Fairmount Park Art Association.{{sfn|Fairmount Park Art Association|1914|p=58}} She died June 22, 1936 in Philadelphia of coronary thrombosis.{{sfn|White|McQuillen|Ziegler|1936|p=1332}} Her correspondence is held in a collection by the Historical Society of Pennsylvania.[2] See also
