Zappone sits on the Board of Directors of financial technology firm Blucora[1][2] and serves as Chief Executive Officer of Brace Industrial.[3] She has held previous appointments as CEO of Service Champ, the largest distributor of consumable automotive aftermarket maintenance parts,[4] CEO of RecoverCare LLC,[5] engagement manager at McKinsey and Company, President at Alcoa, Vice President at Tyco International, in addition to roles at General Electric and ExxonMobil.[2][6][7] She has held positions on notable private boards including Supplies Over Seas,[8] American Heart Association, and continues to sit on Johns Hopkins University's Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering in the Whiting School of Engineering.[2][9] EducationZappone received her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University in 1986[10] and her MBA from Columbia Business School.[6] CEO rolesZappone serves as CEO of Brace Industrial, a Sterling Partners portfolio company.
