The Mattarella law (also Mattarellum or Italian Legge Mattarella) was a reform of the electoral laws of Italy, passed on 4 August 1993. It is named after its author, then Italian Parliament member Sergio Mattarella.[1] The law was nicknamed after the Minotaur of Greek Mythology, for being a combination of two different parts.[2]

It was replaced in 2005 by another law named after Roberto Calderoli.
