It was first aired on DD Chandana in 1998 and it got re-aired on Zee Kannada on 10 March 2014. [1] [2] [3] PlotThe story is about a two middle class girls who are on their way to make the society better while maintaining a balance in their personal life. Malavika is a middle class born woman rights activist who dreams of an ideal society with equality and liberated women. When she finds an ideal man in Krishna Prasad who is her teacher, she gets married to him by opposing her parents. When she gets herself in the business matters of her father-in-law; her father-in-law tries to separate her from his son.[4] Another family, where Srilakshmi along with her siblings Shyama and Sharada lives with her parents L. N. Shastry and Kamalamma. When Srilakshmi gets a modelling offer, her orthodox father Shastry will not let her to do that. One day, one of Shasty's disciples Raghu comes to Shastry with a proposal of marrying Srilakshmi and becomes a sanyasi on the engagement day itself. Because of the determined nature of Shastry, all of his children leave home in search of their destinies and Shastry will also depart his home along with his wife Kamalamma when he encounters a quarrel with his brother.
