It was revived in 1906 by the Ancient Order of Hibernians under the name Mayobridge Owen Roes (after Owen Roe O'Neill). Mayobridge won the county title in 1918 and 1919. It closed down for a time in the 1940s and again in the 1960s before reviving. The youth club and later club grounds were opened in 1978.[4] Mayobridge enjoyed a golden age around the turn of the millennium, winning eight senior county titles in ten years (1999 to 2008) and reaching the final of the Ulster Senior Club Football Championship twice, in 2001 and 2004.
