This species was identified during a 3 year plant survey in the National Park.[1] It is seen to grow in 8 locations in and around the Mathikettan Shola National Park. This plant is endemic to Western ghats. DescriptionBranchlets of this tree are quadrangular. Leaves are with acute or obtuse apex. Petioles are 5-9 mm long. Flowers are seen in 15-20 flowered cymes.
