}}Michael Busch is an American college baseball first basemen for the North Carolina Tar Heels.[3][4] In Busch's junior season, he was regarded as a top prospect for the 2019 Major League Baseball draft.[5] High schoolOut of Simley High School, Busch was rated the number 4 player and number 1 first basemen in Minnesota by Perfect Game.[6] As a senior, Busch was team caption and an all-state selection.[7] CollegeBusch had a breakout sophomore season becoming one of the top first basemen in all of college baseball.[8] Busch went 10-17 in the NCAA tournament helping lead North Carolina to the College World Series.[9]After this break out year high expectations we set on Busch who was named a Pre Season All American and this years North Carolina team.[10][11] So far in the 2019 season, Busch's draft stock has risen by showing off more natural power.[12] After a slow start to his Junior year Busch has heated up.
