BiographyMichael J. Boulette was born in Hudson Falls, New York on June 4, 1950. Michael J. Boulette holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology (cum laude) from St. Mary's University (1971), a master's degree in psychology from Trinity University (1972), a master of divinity from the University of Notre Dame (1975), and a Doctor of Preaching and Worship from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary (1993). On March 19, 1976, Boulette was ordained to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of San Antonio. As a priest in San Antonio, Boulette worked as the founding director[1] of St. Peter Upon the Water: A Center for Spiritual Direction and Formation, a training center for spiritual directors in the Catholic faith. On March 10, 2005, Boulette was granted the title of Monsignor by Pope John Paul II.[2] Pope Francis appointed Boulette auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of San Antonio on January 23, 2017.
