It is the label's ninth compilation, and features songs from the album In Utero by Nirvana. ContentThe fifteen-track album was released by Mint 400 Records for free on 27 January 2017, and showcases aBIRD, Chris Bobbins and Paul Vanderwal, Defend the Rhino, dollys, the Duke of Norfolk, Fairmont, Kult of Mary, the Maravines, Murzik, Pixl-Visionary, Theodore Grimm, Young Legs and Zach Uncles. It is the first album that features both artists from Mint 400 Records and Sniffling Indie Kids.{{sfn|Makin|2016}} Prior to signing with Mint 400 Records, Adam Bird of Those Mockingbirds recalls that Neil Sabatino "approached me about contributing to the tribute to Nirvana's In Utero compilation [and] we ended up recording the song "Very Ape" at his studio."{{sfn|Damion|2018}} On contributing the song "Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge on Seattle" for the compilation album, Joseph Degroot of Pixl-Visionary notes that the "release of In Utero was the most punk rock thing [Nirvana] ever did – follow up a generation-defining multi-platinum rock album with something so ugly, abrasive, and intense that their label demanded a remix, even though it was arguably the most anticipated album ever and would have been a surefire hit no matter how it sounded.
