It has a masthead sloop rig, an internally-mounted spade-type rudder and a fixed fin keel. It displaces {{convert|8000|lb|kg|0|abbr=on}} and carries {{convert|2800|lb|kg|0|abbr=on}} of ballast.[1][2] The boat has a draft of {{convert|4.83|ft|m|abbr=on}} with the standard keel.[1] The boat has a PHRF racing average handicap of 162 with a high of 156 and low of 169.
