}}{{Use dmy dates|date=April 2017}}{{Use Indian English|date=April 2017}} Abdul Qadeer was a police constable from Hyderabad,[1] who was given a life sentence when convicted of killing another police officer who was harassing Muslim youths during the Babri Masjid demolition riots in 1992. Many Muslim organisations appealed for his release on health grounds - one of his legs had been amputated during his imprisonment as a consequence of diabetes - but their pleas were initially rejected by various governments. He was finally released from jail on parole on 30 March 2016.[2][3] References1. ^{{cite web|author= |url=http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/hyderabad/ACP-Sattiah-murder-case-Abdul-Qadeers-wife-sues-govt-for-illegal-detention/articleshow/19051699.cms |title=ACP Sattiah murder case: Abdul Qadeer's wife sues govt for 'illegal detention' |website=Timesofindia.indiatimes.com |date=2013-03-19 |accessdate=2016-03-31}} {{DEFAULTSORT:Qadeer, Mohammed Abdul}}2. ^{{cite web|author= |url=http://www.siasat.com/news/ex-constable-abdul-qadeer-finally-released-939169/ |title=Ex-Constable Abdul Qadeer finally released |publisher=Siasat.com |date=2016-03-23 |accessdate=2016-03-31}} 3. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.deccanchronicle.com/140727/nation-crime/article/acp-killer-cop-gets-one-month-parole |title=Police constable who killed ACP gets one-month parole |website=Deccanchronicle.com |date= |accessdate=2016-03-31}} 5 : Indian Muslims|Indian police officers|People convicted of murder by India|Living people|Year of birth missing (living people) |
