DescriptionThe lighthouse was built in 1857 and consists of a white tapered octagonal prism stone tower, {{convert|18|ft}} high, with balcony and lantern, rising from a 1-storey white circular keeper's house. The lantern, painted in grey metallic, is positioned at {{convert|22|m|ft}} above sea level and emits one white flash on and off in a 6 seconds period, visible up to a distance of {{convert|16|nmi}}.
