Kosovo{{ref label|status|a|}} is administratively subdivided into districts ({{lang-sq|rajone}}, {{lang-sr|окрузи}} / okruzi).[1] They are further subdivided into municipalities ({{lang-sq|komuna}}, {{lang-sr|општина}} / opština). The entities were created by UNMIK and based on the entities in the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija.
