Mortimer and de Giorgio was an architectural firm based in Malta, which was active between the 1940s and the 1960s.^[1]. After graduating as an architect in 1945 Roger de Giorgio partnered up with Arthur Stuart Mortimer to establish a firm that traded as Mortimer and de Giorgio Architects.^[1]

Work

In Malta, Mortimer and de Giorgio Architects designed and built the Sea Malta Building in 1948^[2] and the Seminary at Tal-Virtù, completed in 1954^[3]. The Mortimer and de Giorgio fund was set up in the firm's honour^[3].

Mortimer and de Giorgio had offices in Benghazi and Tripoli where they designed and built schools and hospitals^[1].

Isabelle Barratt-Delia, the first recorded Maltese female architect, who graduated in November 1961, worked at Mortimer and de Giorgio Architects^[4].
