Strumia.[3] The mountain's name was made official in 1947 by the Geographical Names Board of Canada.[4] ClimateBased on the Köppen climate classification, Mount Charlton is located in a subarctic climate with cold, snowy winters, and mild summers.[5] Temperatures can drop below {{Convert|-20|C|F|lk=on|abbr=off}} with wind chill factors below {{Convert|-30|C|F|abbr=on}}.
