释义

  1. References

Muteci (in Latin: Mutecitana) was a Roman town of the Roman province of Mauretania Caesariensis.[1] The exact location of the town is not currently known but Muteci,[2] has been tentatively located near Aïn-El-Anab in modern Algeria, North Africa.[3]

In 484AD the towns bishop, Quintasio, attended the synod assembled in Carthage by the Vandal King Huneric after which Quintasio was exiled to Sicily.[4][5] The current bishop of Muteci is Myron Joseph Cotta, of Sacramento.[6]
