One of his poems says:

Kaha.n Ahl e bait is midhat ka ajr mangta hu.n

Naseem meri ibadat hai karobar nahi

meaning-

I don’t ask any favour for my praise of ahlul bait

‘Naseem’ it is my devotion, not my profession

His love for Ali ibn Abu Talib A.S is exceptionally visible in his poetry. He says

Meri zindagi ki kitab me koi naam hai to Ali ka hai

Mujhe jaanta hai ye kul jaha.n, ye Ghulam hai to Ali ka hai

meaning-

I my life there is no other name then Ali

The world knows I am the servant of Ali

His love for Ali touches the chords of mysticism. He claims Ali ibn Abu Talib A.S is Knowledge

Ye ilm hi wahi kabhi ilham ho gaya

Kaabe taka ate aate Ali naam ho gaya

Knowledge and prophecies was none other

But Ali himself who was born in holy Kaba

His way of expressing the events of Karbala and portraying the characters is superb. He says

Asghar hi shahar e ilm ki Pahchan ho gaya

Ek nukta muskrat diya, Qur'an ho gaya

Asghar became the identification of the city of Knowledge Ali

As a dot he smiled, and turned into a full Quran

His Musaddas on Anaa Ego is a masterclass itself

Khud hi me dooba hua ek viqaar ka lehja

Ek Aitmaad ka, ek Aitbaar ka lehja

Ek Iftekhar bharA ikhtiar ka lehja

AnaA ka lehjaA hai ParwardiaAr ka lehja

KahiN ye lafz na paiida fareb zaat kare

Bashar anaA ko samajh le tab iski baat kare
