LifeShe was born in Taganrog, where her father, Nikolai Fyodorovich Agapiev, worked as a teacher. She studied at Tiflis Art College, graduating in 1906.[2] She studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, and was a founding member of the "Moscow Salon" in 1910, along with some of her former fellow students[3] They gave their first exhibition in February 1911, and folded in 1918.[4] She died in Moscow, aged 73.
