The National Research and Technology Council (Mexico), CONACYT, was created by disposition of the Chamber of Representatives of the Unión on December 29, 1970 with the character of a non-centralized public organization integrated into the education system, with its own juridic personality and patrimony. CONACYT is responsible of formulate and impulse the policies in scientific and technological aiming to contribute with the consolidation of the Mexican economy and the development of the country of which to instruments are fundamental.
