Fatema Jannat Raihana Nazmee ({{lang-bn|ফাতেমা জান্নাত রায়হানা নাজমী}}), better known as Nazmee Jannat, is a Bangladeshi costume designer,[1] fashion stylist,[2] and TV anchor.[3] She is the costume designer of the film Dhaka Attack,[4] and also directed several fashion shows.[5] Nazmee has been contributing in the fashion industry by motivating young people towards fashion education.[6]

Early life

Nazmee completed her schooling in Darjeeling. After finishing her graduation from Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology, soon she joined as a faculty member in Uttara University. Currently she is serving as a lecturer of fashion designing in the same institute.[7]

Career

She started her career as costume designer for different corporate photo-shoots, music videos, and fashion shows.[8] Subsequently she was requested to direct costume design for films.[9] Afterwards she was chosen by the Dhaka Attack team to be a costume designer and the movie turned out to be one of the biggest blockbuster movies of the Bangladeshi film industry. Her work has received critical acclaim.[10] Currently she is working on the integration of transgender people into the fashion industry.[1] Besides these, often she starred in music videos, TV Commercials as a model.[11]
