Aerzen is a municipality in the Hamelin-Pyrmont district, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated {{convert|10|km|mi|0}} southwest of Hamelin, and {{convert|7|km|mi|0}} north of Bad Pyrmont.

Economy

One of the biggest employers in the region is [https://web.archive.org/web/20080808033950/http://eng-de.aerzen.com/index.php/content/view/full/174 Aerzener Maschinenfabrik GmbH] {{Citation needed|date=May 2010}}, a manufacturer of blowers and compressors. As of April 2008, they had an estimated 1000 employees.
