Newtown Radio is a Freeform (radio format) Internet radio station founded in 2009 by Mark Brinda and Colin Ilgen that broadcasts out of a former brewery in Bushwick, Brooklyn NY. The online station features around the clock programming by notable blogs, artists, and labels.[1] Several radio programs on Newtown Radio have attracted wider media attention, including: WTBS,[2] I Have Always Found You Extremely Attractive,[3] Disco Juice,[4] Cock Talk,[5] and Level Radio.[6]. The station remains committed to local causes and community efforts.
