Ngitung was the fifth regent of Poso Regency, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia; who ruled from 1960 to 1962. He was also have military background. He succeeded A. Wahab, who act as acting regent during vacancy.^[1]

His reign was noted to make Poso Regency as more advanced than the city of Palu, which incidentally is the capital of the province.^[2]
