Youth careerStrunck Jakobsen started his career at a club in Ølstykke, but after being sent on the second team, his dad, Kenn Strunck Jakobsen, decided to transfer him to Stenløse BK, where he once played on the first team as a senior. He played for Stenløse in two years, before joining Frederikssund, where he also played two years. As a U15 player, he joined FC Nordsjælland.[1] He won the U17 talent of the year award in 2016 by the Danish Football Association in 2016.[2] Club careerFC NordsjællandStrunck Jakobsen got his first senior call up on 11 February 2018, where he sat on the bench for the whole game against SønderjyskE. He got his debut for FC Nordsjælland only five days later at the age of only 18. He started on the bench, but replaced Mikkel Damsgaard in the 91th minute in a 2-1 victory against OB in the Danish Superliga with shirt number 19.[3] Few days later, he played 72 minutes in a Danish Cup game against amateur side Vejgaard B, where he both scored and assisted a goal. Strunck Jakobsen was officially promoted to the first team squad in the beginning of the 2018/19 season.
