The movie had Jaggesh in the role of a police officer. The movie which received mostly disappointing reviews hardly ran for 3 weeks and became a massive failure at the box office.{{Citation needed|date=September 2018}} StoryThe movie is narrated through flashbacks as remembered by a police officer,badly injured,sitting on a railway track holding a gun. Kencha arrives in a village with his grandfather,mother and sister to sell an old property for his sister's marriage. He is helped by Durga who sells idli with arrack added to it. She later falls in love with him. He finds that Multayamma, the wife of an influential criminal, Ayyappaswamy aka 'Ayya' has illegally confisticated the property. Kencha tries to retrieve it with the help of Chandrakala I. A. S upon whom Ayya had earlier made an acid attack from which she retrieved with great difficulty. It is soon revealed that Kencha is Mudhol I. P. S.,husband of Chandrakala. Durga,who joins the police, dies in an accident planned by Ayya while saving Chandrakala. Mudhol brings down Ayya's empire. He even instigate the college students to attack Ayya's youngest son landing the latter in a comatose state. After much difficulties he manages to trap Mudhol thereby getting a revelation that he was not posted there. Eventually he murders Ayya and his corrupt superiors. The person sitting near the track is revealed to be Mudhol. His subordinates and wife meet him and questions his actions to which he replies that it is the truth. Cast
