The Afghan Health Ministry announced that over 50 people were killed and 94 were wounded. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, but suspicion falls on the Islamic State. [1] AttackThe attack took place in a wedding hall, where religious scholars were gathering to celebrate Prophet Muhammad's birthday.[2] Some thousand were said to be at the event, the bomber made his way into the event where he detonated his explosives.
