Founded in 1970, the club was reactivated during the 2014. HistoryPeriod 1970-1980Founded in 1970, OFK Mladost was one of numerous clubs from Podgorica which participated in the lowest competitive level in Montenegro at that time. Club played in Fourth League - Central region. OFK Mladost represented players from Podgorica region Lješkopolje (suburbs Donja Gorica, Gonja Gorica, Donji Kokoti, Farmaci, Grbavci, Beri etc.). At that time, there was another one club from Lješkopolje region - Napredak from Donji Kokoti. First biggest success, OFK Mladost made during the season 1972-73 by winning champions title in Fourth league. That gained them promotion to Montenegrin Republic League, a third-tier competition in SFR Yugoslavia football system. OFK Mladost played two seasons in Republic competition.[1] During the season 1973/74, OFK Mladost finished as 11-placed among 16 clubs. Next season, as a last-placed team, OFK Mladost were relegated to the Fourth league. At the end of seventies, club was dissolved. Club's score in Montenegrin Republic League seasons:
Period 2014-At 2014, OFK Mladost 1970 were reactivated. Club started with players' selection and trainings. During the 2015, club's management made the decision to apply for the Third League season 2015-16. They played their first official matches in the Central Region Cup and soon after that started playing in the Third League. After two wins, Mladost 1970 went to the final of Central Region Cup 2015, which means qualifying for the Montenegrin Cup for the season 2015/16. In the first leg of national Cup, Mladost 1970 won against FK Sloga Bar away (1:0),[2] but at the round of 16, First league member FK Lovćen eliminated them (3:0, 2:3). OFK Mladost finished their inaugural season in Third League (2015/16) as a fifth club on the table. Next year (2016), Mladost 1970 won the title in Central Region Cup, defeating FK Gorštak in the finals. That gained them participation in 2016–17 Montenegrin Cup. In first leg, Mladost 1970 surprisingly eliminated Second League side FK Cetinje, but in Round of 16 was eliminated by top-league member FK Iskra. On season 2016-17, Mladost 1970 won the title of Third League champion, with 19 wins and one draw during the 20 weeks. With that result, the team gained significant success - promotion to Montenegrin Second League 2017-18. On their debut in Second league, Mladost 1970 made an impressive result. The team finished on second place, with seven points less than title winner FK Mornar. With that success, Mladost 1970 participated in Montenegrin First League playoffs, but without promotion. Their opponent was OFK Petrovac, who won the first game on DG Arena (3:0), while the second game finished with draw (2:2). Club's score after the reactivation:

In their first season after the reactivation, OFK Mladost played home matches in the neighbouring Donji Kokoti. On 21 May 2016, a new stadium of OFK Mladost in Donja Gorica is opened.[3] Two years after that, DG Arena was built.[4] With 1,500 seats, facilities as additional ground and other, it meets criterias for Prva CFL matches. The name of the stadium is an acronyme - DG are the first letters of suburb Donja Gorica. See also
