Okaibe is a coastal city in Mount Lebanon governorate in Lebanon, well known for its various beaches and landscape. The village is a mix of a semi urban lively market street, and three residential areas located on the three parallel hills of the town. Okaibe is best known for its {{Convert|1|km||-long|adj=mid|1}} sandy beach sliced by the "Nahr Ibrahim" river. The village has a population of 5000, majoritarily Christian Maronite similar to all the neighboring Kesserwan villages. Okaibe has 6 churches, 2 monasteries, 2 chapels, and one hindu temple for the indian community which constitutes a large minority. GeographyOkaibe is located around {{Convert|27|km||abbr=on}} north of Beirut, in the district of Kesserwan. The city has a {{Convert|2|km||abbr=on|adj=on}} coastal front consisting of sandy and rocky beaches along with a remarkable crystal blue water. Moreover, it is renowned for the year-long running river known as " Nahr Ibrahim". The city is bordered by Nahr Ibrahim and zaytoun to the north, Bouar to the South, and Al-Nammoura to the east. The five Communal areas in Okaibe are Al-mina (Arabic translation for "port"), Boukak El dine, Kfarchiham, kmayrze and jazayer nahr ibrahim .
