It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.[1] HistoryThe former barracks was built in 1874. It is now adaptively reused as part of the Railway Bowling Club.[2] SignificanceAs at 26 June 2008, the Goulburn Police Barracks erected in 1874 to cater for the needs of the increasing police force in the district, are of high local significance. The single storey barracks building is now adaptively reused as part of the Railway Bowling Club.
