LocationIt is located near the northeastern corner of Forest Park, at 15 Portland Place. HistoryThe mansion was built {{circa|1900}},[1] for William D. Orthwein, a German immigrant.[3] It was designed in the Neoclassical architectural style,[1] by Frederick Widmann, FAIA (1859-1925), Robert W. Walsh, FAIA (1860-c.1929) and Caspar D. Boisselier.[2] William D. Orthwein, his wife Emily and family lived there for 27 years.[3] William D. Orthwein's son William R.
