It is located 11 km towards East from District headquarters Pulwama. 11 km from Tral. 30 km from State capital Srinagar.[1] The founder of Tractor industry in Kashmir Mr. Mohd sultan Makroo is from Padgampora. The people of Padgampora depend mostly on Agriculture but the main business of people is tractor trading. Demographics{{As of|2001}} India census,[2] Padgampora had a population of 6,250. Males constitute 59% of the population and females 41%.
