The bacterium species is reclassified in 2016 to be a member of Paenarthrobacter. Therefore it had a new name as Paenarthrobacter nicotinovorans.[6] This bacterium has the ability to degrade atrazine, nicotine and creatine.[5][7][8] and produces nicotine dehydrogenase[9]{{Clear}} Further reading
