Pamela Petro is an American author, artist and educator teaching creative writing at Smith College and living in Northampton, Massachusetts.[1]

She received her BA from Brown University and MA in Word and Image Studies from the University of Wales.[1]

In 2011 she was named by the National Park Service as an Artist in Residence at the Grand Canyon, for both writing and photography.[2]
