释义 |
HistoryIn 1640, the land in Pass of Kilbride were owned by Nicholas Darcy, an Irish Papist. There is no evident church on Survey maps from 1656-59. Memorial stones in the small cemetery are post 18th Century. [4] In 1976, only a discernible outline, described as low grassy mounds were visible. In 1991 the outline of the building was restored, complete with a gap where the original doorway would have stood.[5] References1. ^Pass of Kilbride civil parish Placenames Database of Ireland Retrieved on 29 June 2015. {{coord missing|County Westmeath}}2. ^Ordnance Survey and Memorial Atlas of Ireland, 1901 3. ^{{cite web|url=https://www.townlands.ie/westmeath/fartullagh/pass-of-kilbride/enniscoffey/pass-of-kilbride/|title=Pass of Kilbride Townland, Co.
