The Paul Biya Stadium, named after President Paul Biya, which is presently under construction on a surface area of 34 hectares in the Olembe neighborhood in Yaounde, some 13km from the city will be among the best stadiums in Africa. The Olembe Stadium will host the opening and closing ceremonies of the 33rd edition of the African Cup of Nations in 2021 and will be the pride of Cameroon.[1][2] ConstructionThe construction of a stadium not only facilitates hosting large sporting events, but also will revitalise the economy, neighbourhood and city.
