}}Pedois amaurophanes is a moth in the Depressariidae family. It was described by Alfred Jefferis Turner in 1947. It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from New South Wales.[1] The wingspan is about 22 mm. The costal edge of the forewings, towards the base, is tinged with pink. The ground colour is whitish sprinkled with fuscous, which tends to form streaks on the veins. The hindwings are whitish grey.[2] References1. ^Pedois at Markku Savela's Lepidoptera and Some Other Life Forms. {{Taxonbar|from=Q25095106}}{{Depressariinae-stub}}2. ^[https://archive.org/stream/proceedingsofuni1161966unit#page/203/mode/1up Proceedings of the United States National Museum 116 (3502): 203] 2 : Moths described in 1947|Pedois |
