}}Perina nuda, the clearwing tussock moth or banyan tussock moth, is a moth of the family Erebidae. The species was first described by Johan Christian Fabricius in 1787.[1] It is found in the Indian subregion, Sri Lanka,[2] to southern China[3] Hong Kong, Thailand[4] and Sundaland.[5] DescriptionAdults show striking sexual dimorphism. The caterpillar has a greyish head and flanks, with the broad black dorsum. Setae are white. Pupa is bristly, piebald in dark grey and cream.
