Peter Schaufuss (born Copenhagen, Denmark, 1949)[1] is a Danish ballet dancer, director and choreographer. Schaufuss trained at the Royal Danish Ballet School from age seven, and then joined the Royal Danish Ballet.[2] Gelsey Kirkland mentioned a tiff she had when he was her partner in her autobiography Dancing On My Grave. They reconciled and were on very good terms in her sequel The Shape of Love. He was artistic director of the English National Ballet.
