According to App Annie, the game was the #1 downloaded app in 151 countries.In 2016, the game was awarded Best Game of 2015 by Google Play, reaching new heights in its global achievements.[1] Pocketgamer complimented Piano Tiles 2 in its article that “bringing the piano-playing sensation to the next level.”[2]However, some have criticised the game for only having one game mode, rather than multiple ones.[3] There has also been criticism over the new lives system.[4] Suddenly in 2017-present mods also spread in YouTube full completed classical and modern songs. Also not available in Google Play, can be downloaded by APK. SoundtrackSongs in Piano Tiles 2 mainly consist of classical music, and folk music. Examples include Pachelbel's Canon (classical, level 3). Songs can be unlocked by leveling up and/or by purchase. Some songs includes Jingle Bells, notable songs include those by Frédéric Chopin such as his Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2 and Waltz in A minor, Franz Schubert's Six Moments Musicaux and Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.
