The team is the 21st franchise of the Legends Football League (LFL). HistoryThe franchise was announced as the 21st franchise established within the LFL in late 2016. The team commenced play in the Eastern Conference in the 2017 season.[1][2] Following that season, the Rebellion decided not to play in the 2018 and 2019 seasons in order to find a more suitable venue to host the team’s home games.
