She is one of the famous writer in Myanmar, and her best-selling novel was Kya Ma Ka Hnin Si Par Maung (I'm Rose, Darling).[1][2][3] BiographyPonnya Khin was born on 22 September 1972 in Kyaunggon in Bassein District, Irrawaddy Division, Myanmar. In aged 19, she worked as a village primary school teacher while studying for her degree. At that time, she was written novels and short stories. In 1995, she was resigned from teaching.[4] Ponnya moved to Yangon for took a post-graduate course in Applied Psychology at Yangon University and began to writing novels based on her personal experiences . Ponnya Khin's novels are described the conditions in the rural education system and life as a village schoolteacher, urban social life, the lives of girls and her personal experiences.[1] Novels of personal experiences
