Description and historyThe Smithsonian Institution describes the sculpture as "two abstract figures with intrabody appendages supported by tripod-like legs".[1] It measures approximately {{Convert|8.5|ft|m}} x {{Convert|5.5|ft|m}} x {{Convert|3|ft|m}} and is set on a concrete base that measures approximately {{Convert|3.5|ft|m}} x {{Convert|3|ft|m}} x {{Convert|3|ft|m}}. A plaque on the front of the base reads: {{Small|PROMETHEUS / JAN ZACH – SCULPTOR}}. The sculpture's condition was deemed "treatment needed" by the Smithsonian's "Save Outdoor Sculpture!" program in July 1993.[1] See also
