Together with Heavens Connection, they introduced Ghanaian youths to urban gospel music (rap/hip hop). He is considered by many to be the poster boy for gospel poetry, spoken word and lyricism and is arguably the most booked poet/spoken word artist in Ghana and Urban Gospel rapper since 2013. He is a youth leader; very renowned amongst senior high schools, universities, churches and advocater of the youth knowing their purpose, talents, gifts and glorifying God with it.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] HistoryPsalm 1, the Christ Junkie started off with the group Heavens Connection in 2009 at Action Chapel International, Spintex Road. After senior high school in 2009, he decided to reconnect with God to know his purpose and talents. He joined the group and after a few months, mounted the stage. His performance did not go well and a such was kept in probation to enable himself build and develop himself. He bounced back before the year ended and became a central figure in the group. EducationPsalm 1 started schooling at Action Education Centre, Airport a school formally owned by Action Chapel International. He proceeded and completed his primary and junior high school at Garrison Basic school. He completed senior high school at St. Thomas Aquinas Senior High School Accra where he was a perfect, chorister and part of the schools basketball team. Psalm 1 moved to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
